Bandarban district

Bandarban district is located about 75 kilometers east of chittagong district under chittagong division. The total area of Bandarban covers 4,479 sq km and is not only the remotest district of the country, but also is the least populated. The three highest peak of Bangladesh - Tahjindong (1280 m), Mowdok Mual (1052 m), and Keokradong (1230 m) are located in here.The Raikhiang Lake, the highest lake in Bangladesh is also laying here along with the Chimbuk peak and Boga Lake which are one of the greatest tourist attractions of the country.

Rangamati

Rangamati is a district at the eastern part of chittagong division, lying beside the beautiful kaptai lake. It is 77km east of Chittagong, is beautifully situated over a series of islands in Kaptai Lake and it’s the place every Bangladeshi wants to take their holidays. The town was originally laid out as an administrative centre and modern-day hill station in the 1960s, but the real charm of Rangamati lies not in the town itself but rather in the lush, outstanding and mindblowing surrounding countryside.

Saint Martin

Saint Martin Island lays on the bay of Bengal on the southern side of cox’s bazaar, under cox’s bazaar district .At low tide the island measures approximately eight square kilometers and at high tide the island reduces in size, to about five square kilometers. But don’t let the size of the island deter you from exploring its beauty and hidden secrets. It is one of the most beautiful places in the country where you can recharge yourself after a long tiring life.

There are about 5500 people lives in the island and make a living from fishing and tourism. There are a few luxury ocean liners that include St Martin’s Island in their routes. Bahadur Shah Park

Bahadur Shah Park is located in laksmibajar in sadarghat in old dhaka . This place is witness to many historical events. There are many important institutions and buildings around this park. Amongst them, Jagannath University, Kobi Nazrul College is mentionable. From Sadarghat , anyone can go easily by rickshaw to this place .

The park was established by the british governmwnt and that time it was named as VICTORIA PARK in accordinance with the name og queen victoria . Later on, in 1857 during SIPAHI BIDROHO many soldiers were killed and kept hanging inside the park. In 1957, in remembrance of the martyers of 1857 the park is renamed as “BAHADUR SHAH PARK “as the fought for KING BAHADUR SHAH, the last mughal emperor.

The Sundarbans

The Sundarbans are the biggest littoral mangrove forest in the world, stretching 80km (50mi) into the Bangladeshi hinterland from the coast. The forests aren't just mangrove swamps although they consist of some of the last outstanding stands of the mighty jungles which once covered the Gangetic plain. The Sundarbans cover up an area of 38,500 sq km, of which one-third is covered in water. The Sundarbans have been a wildlife shelter, and it is expected that there are now 400 Royal Bengal tigers and about 30,000 dotted deer in the area. 

The park is residence of sea gypsy fishing families who catch fish using skilled otters. To see this pristine surroundings, you require to get authorize from the Divisional Forest Office in Khulna. It's possible to employ a boat from Mongla or Dhangmari to acquire you to Hiron Point. From Hiron Point you will have to sign up a guide to take you into the park.
